Momentum Forward™ equips participants with practical, real-world skills to manage daily life, community participation, emotional regulation, and preparation for work or study. Supports are flexible and paced to individual goals, building measurable capabilities participants can use immediately.

Momentum Forward™ is suitable for participants who:
Want to develop practical daily living and work preparation skills
- Are learning routines, organisation, meal planning, budgeting, time management, and technology use
- Want to practise social interactions, community participation, and self-advocacy skills
- Are preparing for life transitions, such as increased independence, study, or work
- Prefer hands-on, strengths-based, non-clinical support

Programme Purpose
Momentum Forward™ provides structured skill-building to:
- Practise daily living skills: meal preparation, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, household organisation, and personal care
- Build social and community skills: conversation, community navigation, public transport, accessing community services, self-advocacy, understanding rights, and decision making
- Develop emotional regulation and coping strategies: recognising triggers, calming strategies, problem-solving, managing frustration and stress
- Build work preparation skills: resume writing, interview techniques, workplace etiquette, travel and workplace confidence
- Develop technology skills: using devices, apps, and online tools for organisation, communication, learning, and work tasks
- Develop financial and money management skills: budgeting, saving, paying bills, understanding expenses
- Develop health and personal care skills: nutrition, hygiene, medication management, exercise routines, basic first aid
- Prepare participants for life transitions: routine changes, work or study transitions, independent living, adaptability
This programme is NOT:
- Therapy or counselling
- Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
- Clinical or mental health treatment
- Support Coordination or plan implementation
Programme Structure – Adaptive Skill Modules (Approximate Duration)
Momentum Forward™ is delivered through flexible, adaptive modules, tailored to participant goals and capacity. Each module is stand-alone and can be undertaken individually; there are no prerequisites. Participants may choose to complete only the modules they need, or they may complete all modules for a full pathway experience.
Approximate durations for guidance:
- Engagement, Foundations & Safety: 2–4 sessions (1–1.5 hours each)
- Daily Life & Routine Development: 4–8 sessions (1–2 hours each)
- Practical Life Skills: 6–12 sessions (1–2 hours each)
- Work Preparation Skills: 4–8 sessions (1–2 hours each)
- Social Skills & Community Participation: 4–10 sessions (1–2 hours each)
- Emotional Regulation & Coping: 4–8 sessions (1–1.5 hours each)
- Technology Skills: 2–6 sessions (1–1.5 hours each)
- Financial Skills: 2–6 sessions (1–1.5 hours each)
- Life Transitions & Change: 2–6 sessions (1–1.5 hours each)
- Consolidation & Step-Down: 2–4 sessions (1 hour each)
Outcomes: Participants demonstrate practical, observable skills across daily living, social participation, emotional regulation, technology use, financial management, and work preparation.
